Daphne woman to speak Sunday at Columbiana church on dangers of DUI

A Daphne woman who killed another person while driving drunk will speak Sunday, March 20 at 6 p.m. at Columbiana United Methodist Church in a free event and open to the public.

Katelyn Carr received a five-year suspended sentence in 2008 and spent four months in jail.

Katelyn and her dad, Charles Carr, now speak regularly to community organizations and churches about the dangers of drinking and driving, and the importance of making wise choices.
