Arby William Dailey, 83, of Montevallo passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Dailey was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Minnie Dailey and a son, Ira William Dailey. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Dailey; children, Angie Harper, Joan Pickett (Wayne), Donna Harper (Barry), Rev. Benjie Dailey (Kathy), Rev. Reburn Dailey (Carol) and Carol Johnson (Jerry); brothers, Fredmon Venon Dailey (Betty) of Immokelee, Fla., Charles Edward Dailey of Gallant; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mr. Dailey was a deacon of Macedonia Baptist Church and served in the Army during the Korean War.

Visitation was held at Rockco Funeral Home, Montevallo, Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services were held at Macedonia Baptist Church, Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 2 p.m. He lay in-state at the church one hour prior to the service with Rev.
