Spain Park sweeps Homewood in tennis match

The Spain Park High School girls’ tennis team defeated Homewood 9-0 in a high school tennis match March 21.

The Jaguars swept all six singles’ matches and all three doubles’ matches.

Jack Nicholas of Spain Park defeated Andrew Garmin of Homewood 10-2 in the No. 1 singles’ match. J.C. Moore of Spain Park defeated Max Morgan of Homewood 10-2 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Connor Raines of Spain Park defeated David Hall of Homewood 10-5 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Will Hartsock of Spain Park defeated Fletcher Battles of Homewood 10-1 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Brit Sovic of Spain Park defeated David Cox of Homewood 10-2 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Baylor Cocke of Spain Park defeated Matt Bennett of Homewood 10-2 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Nicholas and Moore defeated Garmin and Battles 10-2 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Sovic and Keita Ueno of Spain Park defeated Hall and Mogan 10-8 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Cocke and Hartsock defeated Bennett and Cox 10-0 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
