The Shelby County High School softball team defeated Childersburg 15-5 in high school softball action March 22.

Brianna Buie led the Wildcats (5-1) at the plate as she finished with a two-run homer and drove in three runs.

Kaitlyn Paschall finished with two home runs and drove in four runs. Jaselyn Harrison, Brittany Lansford and Brittani Morris each recorded a hit in the victory. Morris finished with a double and scored two runs.

Jecca Carden (3-0) picked up the win in the circle after giving up only four hits with four strikeouts in a complete game.
