The Calera High School boys’ golf team edged rival Montevallo in a match March 23 at Timberline Golf Club.

The Eagles finished with a score of 209 strokes. Montevallo carded a team total of 260 strokes.

Calera freshman Preston Waid was the medalist with his nine-hole score of 45 strokes.
