The Chelsea High School softball team fell to Vestavia Hills 5-4 in high school softball action March 24.

Caitlin Bice led the Hornets at the plate as she finished 2-for-4 with two doubles and scored a run.

Kacie Craft finished 2-for-4 and drove in a run. Morgan Pence went 1-for-4 and drove in two runs. Allie Luster finished 1-for-4 and drove in a run.

Bice took the loss in the circle as she gave up two earned runs on five hits in four innings. Pence allowed three earned runs on three hits with a strikeout and a walk in two innings.
