The Montevallo High School softball team defeated Greensboro 9-1 in high school softball action March 24.

Mallory Anderson led the Bulldogs (5-3) at the plate as she finished 2-for-4 with a double and a stolen base. Anderson drove in two runs in the victory.

Kaley Kornegay finished 2-for-3 with a double and drove in two runs. Savannah Smith went 2-for-4 and drove in a run. Destiny Upton finished 2-for-4.

Upton picked up the win in the circle after allowing only one unearned run without giving up a hit in a complete game. Upton struck out six batters and walked three batters in the victory.
