The Pelham High School girls’ soccer team blanked Northridge 3-0 in high school soccer action March 28.

Jessica Bird scored all three goals for the Panthers (9-5) in the first half. Natalie Alcaino recorded an assist on Bird’s second goal.

Pelham goalkeeper Selina Delgadillo finished with 14 saves.

BOYS

The Pelham High School boys’ soccer team defeated Northridge 1-0 in high school soccer action March 28.

Oscar Pineda scored the lone goal for the Panthers (6-10-1 overall, 4-2 in Class 6A, Section 6) off an assist from Cameron Haynes with 15:13 remaining in the opening half.

Pelham goalkeeper Hunter Payant recorded two saves as he posted his fourth shutout this season.
