Wyatt elected to cotton committee
More than 700 farmers met in Birmingham Feb. 1-3 for the Alabama Farmers Federation’s Commodity Organizational Conference where Federation members elected leaders for 16 different commodities produced by farmers in the state. Terry Wyatt of Shelby County, left, was elected to the Federation’s State Cotton Committee. He is pictured with Federation Cotton Division Director Buddy Adamson. The Alabama Farmers Federation, a membership organization of the American Farm Bureau Federation, is the state’s largest farm organization with more than 430,000 members.
