The Calera High School baseball team fell to Oak Grove 5-1 in high school baseball action March 29.

J.R. Posey led the Eagles as he finished 1-for-3 at the plate. Posey singled and later scored in the top of the fourth inning to temporarily give Calera a 1-0 lead.

Chase Rockco finished 1-for-1 and drove in the lone run for Calera. Nathan Smith went 1-for-3 at the plate.

Michael Marfice took the loss on the mound after giving up three earned runs on three hits with a strikeout and two walks in 3 1/3 innings.

Conner Bush allowed two earned runs on three hits with two strikeouts and a walk in 1 2/3 innings.
