The Chelsea High School softball team defeated Briarwood Christian 10-0 in a Class 5A, Area 7 contest March 29.

Caitlin Bice led the Hornets as she finished 2-for-3 at the plate. Bice drove in two runs and scored a run in the victory.

Kacie Craft, who drove in four runs and scored one run, finished 1-for-2 with a double. Carley Toretta, who drove in two runs and scored one run, went 1-for-2 with a double.

Alex Osborn picked up the win in the circle after giving up only two hits with four strikeouts and a walk in a five-inning complete game.

Ashlyn Boyd led the Lions as she finished 1-for-2 at the plate.

Sara Kate Bracewell took the loss in the circle after giving up two earned runs on eight hits with five walks in a complete game.
