The Oak Mountain High School girls’ soccer team defeated Mountain Brook 2-1 in a Class 6A, Section 5 match March 29.

Vicki Hill led the Eagles (11-2) as she scored both goals in the victory. Bailee Harnett finished with an assist on each goal.

Hill scored her first goal in the fifth minute off an assist by Harnett. Hill capped the scoring for Oak Mountain with her goal off an assist by Harnett in the 54th minute.

Oak Mountain goalkeeper Jill Hester finished with seven saves in the match.

BOYS

Taylor Aderholt scored the lone goal for the Eagles in the victory.

Oak Mountain goalkeeper Brenton Thompson recorded two saves.
