The Spain Park High School girls’ tennis team defeated Hoover 6-3 in high school tennis action April 5.

The Jaguars won five of the six singles’ matches and one doubles’ match against Hoover.

Olivia Cissell of Spain Park defeated Courtney Schrock of Hoover 8-2 in the No. 2 singles’ match. Lauren Schroeder of Spain Park defeated Ria Bennett of Hoover 9-7 in the No. 3 singles’ match.

Madison Luther of Spain Park defeated Ellie Lushington of Hoover 8-1 in the No. 4 singles’ match. Robyn Mitchell of Spain Park defeated Hallie Lee of Hoover 8-2 in the No. 5 singles’ match.

Lulu Zhang of Spain Park defeated Madison Bamman of Hoover 9-7 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Zhang and Luther defeated Lee and Jones 10-5 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
