The Oak Mountain High School girls’ tennis team defeated Gardendale 7-2 in high school tennis action April 5.

The Eagles won five of the six singles’ matches and two of the three doubles’ matches against Gardendale.

Ashley Ochsenhirt of Oak Mountain defeated Lauren Hall of Gardenale 10-1 in the No. 2 singles’ match. Rian Imwalle of Oak Mountain defeated Julie Parker of Gardendale 10-3 in the No. 3 singles’ match.

Samantha Fredrick of Oak Mountain defeated Morgan Brown of Gardendale 10-3 in the No. 4 singles’ match. Carter Tomlinson defeated Ema Hill of Gardendale 11-9 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Mary Catherine Touliatos of Oak Mountain defeated Katie Huett of Gardendale 10-3 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Ochsenhirt and Fredrick defeated Brown and Parker 10-0 in the No. 2 doubles’ match. Anna Manning and Touliatos of Oak Mountain defeated Hill and Tiffany Otis of Gardendale 10-4 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.

The Oak Mountain High School boys’ tennis team defeated Gardendale 9-0 in high school tennis action April 5.

The Eagles (7-5) swept all six singles’ matches and all three doubles’ matches against Gardendale.

Preston Touliatos of Oak Mountain defeated Nathan Sheffield of Gardendale 10-0 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Kyle Ehlers of Oak Mountain defeated Jason Guthrie of Gardendale 10-0 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Thomas Mason of Oak Mountain defeated Sam Scarborough of Gardendale 10-1 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Hunter Dodson of Oak Mountain defeated Joshua Mayfield 10-0 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Jake Marinelli of Oak Mountain defeated Jacob Wolford of Gardendale 10-3 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Mark Newton of Oak Mountain defeated Jonah Mayfield of Gardendale 10-0 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Touliatos and Ehlers defeated Sheffield and Guthrie 10-0 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Mason and Marinelli defeated Scarborough and Sam Davis of Gardendale 10-2 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Dodson and Newton defeated Jonah Mayfield and Joshua Mayfield 10-0 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
