Pelham earns split with Oak Mountain

The Pelham High School baseball team earned a split with Oak Mountain in Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 play following a 4-1 win over the Eagles in an area contest April 8.

Reed Bright led Pelham (21-11 overall, 1-3 in Class 6A, Area 10) at the plate as he finished 3-for-4 and drove in one run.

Hunter Soleymani went 2-for-3 at the plate. Parker Curry finished 2-for-4 at the plate. Michael Herring added a double.

Soleymani earned the win on the mound after giving up one run on two hits in a complete game.

David Dahl and Jake Hubbard led Oak Mountain (15-12 overall, 2-2 in Class 6A, Area 10) at the plate with a single each.

Richard Greene drove in the lone run for the Eagles with a sacrifice fly. Robby Clements took the loss on the mound.
