The Thompson High School softball team fell to Vestavia Hills 4-0 in high school softball action April 8.

Rachel Rigney took the loss in the circle after giving up four hits with nine strikeouts in a complete game.

The Warriors also fell to Walker 6-3 in high school softball action April 8.

Ashleigh Short and Rebecca Victory led Thompson at the plate with two hits each.

Sarah Beth Holdbrooks, Jordan Swindle, Jessica Swindle and Taylor Powell had a single each. Jessica Swindle drove in two runs. Powell drove in one run.
