The Coosa Valley Academy softball team swept three games against Meadowview Christian at home April 9.

The Rebels won the opener 10-0.

Alyssa Holmes was on the rubber for seven innings and had nine strikeouts. Holmes also led the way at the plate with a 3-for-3 performance.

Hannah Vick went 2-for-2 at the plate. Shelby Hurt went 2-for-3. Kaylan Rich, Hannah Heath, Hannah Waldroup and Laura Puckett added one hit each.

Coosa Valley won the second game 7-0.

Hope Myrick went the distance in the circle with five strikeouts.

Vick and Holmes led the Rebels at the plate with three hits each. Hurt, Myrick, and Kala Shaw each went 2-for-4 at the plate. Katelyn Bierely, Amelia Ripley, Sky Brasher and Rich each had a hit.

The Rebels won the final game 7-1.

Vick was in the circle for five innings with four strikeouts.

Shaw, Vick, Ripley, Hurt, Myrick, Rich and Brasher each had a hit.
