Chester Coleman “C.C.” Osborne

Funeral service for Chester Coleman “C.C.” Osborne, 78, will be Friday, April 15, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Levernon Davis officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Childersburg.

Mr. Osborne died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Jean Osborne; daughter, Denise Jeanette Osborne; son, Chester Coleman “Sonny” Osborne, Jr.; and his parents, brother and sister. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army and was a member of the Ragland VFW Post 6652.

He is survived by his daughters, Debra Osborne Roberson of Ashville and Vickie Osborne of Childersburg; brother, Elmer Earl Osborne of Sylacauga; sisters, Hazel Marie Eastis of Odenville and Beulah Fay Harris of Moody; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday April 15, 2011 from noon-2 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Mark Thompson, Jeffery Tipton, Jacob Williams, Tony Wideman, Mark Williams and Billy Tipton.
