The Pelham High School baseball team was swept by Hoover in Class 6A, Area 10 play following a 4-2 loss to the Buccaneers in its final area game April 14.

Nick Foster led the Panthers (23-13 overall, 1-5 in Class 6A, Area 10) as he finished 2-for-3 at the plate.

Hunter Soleymani took the loss after giving up three earned runs on five hits with four strikeouts and three walks in six innings.

Hunter Pearson allowed one earned run on one hit with a strikeout in one inning in relief.
