The Pelham High School girls’ soccer team defeated Bessemer City 10-0 in a Class 6A, Section 6 match April 18.

Jessica Bird led the Panthers (12-9 overall, 6-4 in Class 6A, Section 6) with three goals in the victory.

Cassie Shiflett and Natalia Alcaino scored two goals each. Meagan Comer, Ashley Gardner and Calissa Addington scored one goal each in the win.

Addington led the Panthers with two assists. Alcaino, Bird, Shiflett, Ana Gonzalez, Catrina Kennedy and Sarah Sullivan finished with one assist each.

Pelham goalkeeper Selina Delgadillo recorded two saves in the shutout.
