The Cornerstone Christian School baseball team swept Jackson Academy in a doubleheader in high school baseball action April 18.

The Chargers (16-7-1) won the first game 9-3 before earning an 8-4 win in the nightcap.

Dylan Rodgers led Cornerstone Christian with five hits in the doubleheader, including a home run and a double. Auston Wingard finished with four hits, including a triple and a double.

Adrian Young earned the win on the mound in the first game and Wingard took home the victory in the nightcap.

The Chargers will travel to Abbeville Christian Academy for a best-of-three series in the opening round of the Alabama Independent Schools Association Class 1A playoffs April 28-29.
