Calera drops area softball contest against Oak Grove

The Calera High School softball team fell to Oak Grove 7-5 in a Class 4A, Area 8 softball contest April 19.
Kymber McGiboney led the Eagles as she finished 3-for-4 at the plate. McGiboney drove in one run and scored two runs in the victory.
Skyler Laird finished 1-for-3 at the plate and scored two runs. Jocelyn Davis went 1-for-2 at the plate and drove in one run. Katie Eiland finished 1-for-3 at the plate and drove in one run. Shelby Clark went 1-for-4 at the plate and drove in one run.
Morgan Tate finished 1-for-3 at the plate. Anna Seabury scored one run in the defeat.
Eiland took the loss in the circle after giving up seven earned runs on 15 hits with four strikeouts in a complete game.
