National crime prevention program coming to area church

A nationally recognized crime prevention program is coming to Faith Presbyterian Church.
The Refuse to Be A Victim seminar to promote awareness and prevention of criminal confrontations will be held Saturday, May 14 starting at 8 a.m. at the church, located at 4601 Valleydale Road.
Cost for the four-hour seminar is $20. Topics include home, automobile, phone, technology, travel and personal security. Developed in 1993 for women, the seminar became co-ed in 1997 and has been presented in all 50 states.
