The Spain Park High School softball team defeated Gardendale 8-5 in the Corner softball tournament April 22.

Hannah Camp led the Jaguars at the plate as she finished with a three-run walk-off homer, a two-run double and a single.

Mary Beth Glass added a two-run triple. Caroline Holmes finished with an RBI double. Erin Hornsby finished with two singles. Julie Knight earned the win in the circle.

Spain Park fell to Springville 10-9 in extra innings.

Mary Kathryn Bonamy added a three-run double. Keri Krake and Katherine Mee finished with an RBI single each. Camp had a double and an RBI sacrifice fly.

Haynes earned the win in the circle.

Spain Park fell to host Corner 3-1 in the tournament.
