The Hope Christian School softball team was swept by First Assembly Christian School in high school softball action April 25.

The Eagles (14-9-1) dropped the opener 7-6 in extra innings.

Ashley Vann led Hope Christian at the plate as she finished 2-for-4 with two doubles. Vann drove in one run and scored one run in the defeat.

Sarah Birdsong finished 2-for-4 and scored one run. Hannah Rettig, who drove in one run and scored one run, went 2-for-4 at the plate. Tiffany Skinner finished 2-for-4 with a double and scored one run.

Walker allowed three earned runs on two hits with six strikeouts and two walks  in five innings. Vann took the loss after giving up one unearned run with five strikeouts in three innings.

Hope Christian fell to First Assembly 6-5 in the nightcap.

Tiffany Skinner led the Eagles at the plate as she finished 2-for-3 with a double and scored one run.

Amanda Rowley went 1-for-1 at the plate with a double and scored one run.
Layla Skinner went 1-for-3 at the plate with a double and drove in one run.

Tiffany Skinner gave up three earned runs on five hits with three strikeouts in four innings as she took the loss in the circle.
