The Briarwood Christian School softball team defeated Homewood 17-2 in high school softball action April 26.

Caroline Seay led the Lions at the plate as she finished 3-for-4 with a triple and a double. Seay drove in two runs and scored two runs in the victory.

Savannah Kolb finished 3-for-4 at the plate with a triple and drove in one run. Sara Kate Bracewell went 2-for-3 at the plate with a triple and drove in three runs. Morgan Reed, who drove in two runs and scored one run, finished 2-for-3 at the plate.

Brooke Calma allowed one earned run on one hit with four strikeouts and six walks in a four-inning complete game.
