The Calera High School softball team fell to Marbury 9-5 in high school softball action April 26.

Kymber McGiboney led the Eagles (7-14) as she finished 3-for-4 at the plate. McGiboney drove in one run and scored one run.

Jocelyn Davis, who drove in two runs and scored one run, finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a home run. Shelby Clark finished 2-for-4 at the plate and scored one run. Skyler Laird went 1-for-3 at the plate and scored one run.

Somer Roberson took the loss in the circle after allowing one earned run on three hits with two walks in four innings. Katie Eiland allowed two earned runs on five hits with two strikeouts in two innings in relief.
