Pelham falls to Vestavia Hills in playoff match

The Pelham High School boys’ soccer team ended its season with an 8-1 loss to Vestavia Hills in a first round match in the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A playoffs May 3.
Diego Lopez scored the lone goal for the Panthers in the defeat.
Pelham goalkeeper Hunter Payant recorded seven saves in the match.
