Oak Mountain softball tops Clay-Chalkville

The Oak Mountain High School softball team defeated Clay-Chalkville 6-5 in high school softball action May 4.

Leah Reeve led the Eagles as she finished 2-for-3 at the plate and drove in three runs.

Hannah Griffin went 2-for-2 at the plate with a double, an RBI and a run scored. Griffin also had one stolen base in the victory.

Hannah Asprodites finished 1-for-3 at the plate and scored one run. Maddie Ridgeway went 1-for-2 at the plate and scored one run.

Anne Thomaston picked up the win in the circle after giving up one earned run on three hits with four strikeouts and a walk in three innings.

Nicole Kehr allowed two earned runs on four hits with seven strikeouts and a walk in four innings.
