The Oak Mountain High School girls’ soccer team ended its season with a 3-2 loss following a round of penalty kicks to Hoover in the second round of the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A playoffs May 6.

Katie West led the Eagles (16-4) with two goals in the match, which could’t be settled in two 40-minute halves and two 5-minute overtime periods.

Toni Payne added one goal in the defeat.
