May 27

-Theft of property from the 500 block of First Street Southwest (commercial). Stolen was a ladies Clinique cream-colored clutch purse with a brown handle valued at $10, a fashion silver ladies watch valued at $39, a set of earrings valued at $2 and various Mary Kay makeup valued at $52.

-Information only from Wendy’s in Pelham (bank). Forged was a check in the amount of $95.

-Criminal mischief from the 200 block of Highway 267 (residence, home). Damaged was a no trespassing sign valued at $3.

-Abandoned vehicle from the entrance to Veterans Park (highway, street).

-Possession of drug paraphernalia from the 400 block of Heathersage Road (lake, waterway). Confiscated was a bottle cap with socket possibly containing burnt marijuana valued at $5 and a California Innovations cooler valued at $10.

-Harassment from 6271 Southbrook Village (commercial).

-Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 200 block of Meadowlark Drive (residence, home). Forged was a Mutual Savings credit and debit card.

-Damage to property from the Colonial Promenade (parking lot, garage). Damaged was a 1998 Toyota Camry.

May 28

-Found property from the parking lot of the Alabaster Police Department (parking lot, garage). Recovered was a prescription slip.

-Damage to property from Fulton Springs Road at Williams Drive (highway, street). Damaged was a wheel rim.

-Identity theft from the 7800 block of Highway 17 (residence, home).

-Damage to property from the 1000 block of Henry Drive (residence, home). Damaged was a 2001 Dodge Dakota passenger side rear window in the amount of $300.

-Driving under the influence of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 400 block of Poplar Ridge Drive (highway, street). Confiscated was a plastic bag containing a white powder substance believed to be heroin valued at $100, three blue pills identified as Klonopin valued at $10 and a spoon containing a white residue believed to be heroin.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana from the 1000 block of Highway 31 (parking lot, garage). Confiscated was a green leafy substance wrapped in cellophane believed to be marijuana.

-Assault and breaking and entering a vehicle from the 600 block of Windsor Court (parking lot, garage). Stolen was a JVC Car Radio valued at $80.

-Domestic incident from the 400 block of Fifth Avenue Southeast (residence, home).

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Jasmine Drive (residence, home). Stolen was a shorty motorcycle helmet valued at $64.

-Theft of property from the 600 block of Colonial Parkway (specialty store). Stolen and recovered was conditioner valued at $4.72, a bra valued at $9.94, and two pairs of Lei jeans valued at $18 each.

Stolen and recovered was a USDA ground chuck valued at $6.02, Kraft chunks valued at $4.46, Bush’s grill BBQ valued at $3.70, Bertolli sauce valued at $2.65, a whole beef tender valued at $12.69, Kraft cheese valued at $5.05 and Bryan sausage valued at $3.47.

-Theft (shoplifting) from the 5100 block of U.S. 31 (department store). Recovered items included face cleaner valued at $2.97, a toothbrush valued at $5, tweezers valued at $9.97 and tweezers valued at $2.48.

-Criminal mischief from Camden Cove pool. Damage valued at $300 was done to the passenger door of a 2008 Dodge Caravan.

-Harassment from the 900 block of 10th Street (highway, street).

-Death investigation from the 400 block of Milstead Drive.

-Theft (shoplifting) from the 5100 block of U.S. 31 (department store). Stolen were three different types of socks with a total value of $45 and spark plugs valued at $26.64.

-Damage to city property from First Avenue East (highway, street). Damaged was 10 feet of asphalt roadway in the amount of $1,000, and cleaned up was First Avenue East in the amount of $1,500.

-Unlawful possession of prescription medication and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the park at Silver Lakes Parkway (other, unknown). Recovered were 2.5 Xanax pills valued at $20 and 1.5 clonazapam pulls valued at $10 and a 2-inch piece of plastic straw used to snort narcotics.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Ace Place (commercial). Stolen were 362 copper fittings valued at $2,300.

June 2

-Driving under the influence of alcohol with a child under 14 in a vehicle and license to carry a pistol required from Highway 52 West at Hillsboro Parkway (highway, street). Recovered was a Hipoint 9-millimeter handgun including one magazine and seven rounds of ammunition valued at $200, four prescription pill bottles containing clonazapam, suboxone and methamphetamine salts valued at $50, an over-the-counter bottle of NO-DOZ valued at $6 and an over-the-counter bottle of generic acetaminophen valued at $4.

-Failure to appear from the Birmingham City Jail (jail/prison).

-Domestic incident and found property from the 7800 block of Wellwood Circle (residence, home). Recovered were two glass pipes for smoking valued at $30 and a green, leafy substance valued at $15.

-Driving under the influence from Highway 261 (residence, home).

-Minor in consumption of alcohol from 122 Tree lane (highway, street). Confiscated was one Michelob

Ultra case of beer containing three 12-ounce bottles valued at $8.

-Criminal mischief from 143 Business Center Drive (parking lot, garage). Damaged were two side windows and graphic tinting on a 2004 GMC Savannah van in the amount of $1,600 and a side window and graphic tinting on a 2009 Chevrolet Express van in the amount of $800.

-City vehicle accident from Helena Road (highway, street).

-Property damage to a vehicle from 5500 Cahaba Valley Road (parking lot, garage). Damaged was the driver’s side door on a 2006 BMW 325i in the amount of $500.

-Theft of property first degree from Jim Lemonds Paint and Body Shop (service, gas station). Stolen was a pair of Dolce and Gabanna sunglasses valued at $400, a pair of Mark Jacobs aviator sunglasses valued at $475, a pair of Cartier sunglasses valued at $650, a 64-gigabyte iPad valued at $700, an iPod auxiliary cord valued at $45 and various compact discs valued at $300.

-Burglary from the 3000 block of Vance Street (residence, home). Stolen and recovered was a Remington model 1100 16-gauge shotgun valued at $500 and a Remington model 1100 12-gauge shotgun valued at $500.

-Criminal mischief from the 1900 block of Chandalar Court (residence, home). Damaged were eight pieces of paper taped to the vehicle that were torn off in the amount of $5.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana from the parking lot of Wells Fargo bank at 2261 Pelham Parkway (parking lot, garage). Confiscated was a set of scales valued at $10, 1 gram of marijuana in a Choco Cafe tin valued at $5, 1.5 grams of amphetamine salts in a Rite-Aid bottle valued at $15, 7.5 grams of hydrocodone inscribed with V/3600 valued at $100, 8.5 grams of Adderall inscribed with b/973, 1 gram of Ambien inscribed with V/6469 valued at $5 and 1 gram of Oxycontin inscribed with OP/80 valued at $40.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from 147 Business Center Drive (parking lot, garage). Stolen were three chains valued at $180, three load binders valued at $180, various hand tools valued at $50, and damaged was a driver’s-side door in the amount of $50.

-Theft of property from Oak Mountain Lodge (hotel, motel). Stolen were 60 tablets of Clonazepam valued at $13.

-Driving under the influence of alcohol from Cahaba Valley Road (highway, street).

-Public intoxication and leaving the scene of an accident from County Road 35 near Mallard Point (highway, street).

-Burglary from the 2300 block of Pelham Parkway (specialty store). Damaged was a glass window in the amount of $500, and stolen was a black push-button safe containing about $20,000, three money bags containing about $900 and a cash register drawer shell.
