Billy Joe Strickland of Montevallo passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at his home. He was preceded in death by his two children, Joe Strickland and Jackie Keener. Billy was survived by his wife, Jackie Strickland; children, Teresa Bolton, Jeffery Strickland, Kim Roy, Kathy Braswell and Roy Hardin; grandchildren, Stephanie Strickland, Sissy Endress, Tim Endress, Allen Keener, Monica Hutchison, Katilyn Green, DaKota Strickland and B. J. Strickland; also by his sister and brothers, Kathleen Tipton, Thomas Earl Strickland and Bobby Lee Strickland, all of Lincoln.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. for friends at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held on Friday June 24, 2011 at Providence Cemetery at 2 p.m. Rev. Stanley Dawson will officiate the service. Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo directing. Rockcofuneralhomes.com.
