Chandler Lawrence Davis

Chandler Lawrence Davis, age 83, of Montevallo went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Mr. Chandler spent his career with Westinghouse Electric for 28 years. He was an active Mason with Buck Creek Lodge number 410 for 50 years as a Master Mason.

Visitation was held at Charter Funeral Home on Thursday, June 30, from 1-2 p.m. following with a funeral service at 2 p.m. Reverend Darian Holcombe and Reverend Mack Ritch officiated the services. Burial was in Mt. Era United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Yvonne Davis; son, Terry L. Davis (Anita); daughter, Tammy Hayes (Michael); granddaughters, Chanda Jennings (Brian), Stacie Lightsey (Britton) and Kendra Parten (Jeremy); great-grandsons, Collin and Blake Jennings; and great-granddaughter, Alexa Lightsey.

Arrangements were under the direction of Charter Funeral Home.
