Jimmy Roberson, age 61, a resident of Thorsby, died on Thursday, July 7, 2011. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Oak Mountain Cemetery with Rev. Waymond Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p.m., Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Mr. Roberson is survived by his wife, Mae Roberson; sons, Tim Roberson (Schioneil), Shannon R. Roberson and Charlie Roberson; daughter, Shelley Whitner; step-daughter, Rhonda Inman (Derek); grandchildren, Paul and Heather Wingard, Rebecca and Brianna Shoemaker, Tim A. Roberson, Jr. and Jeremy T. Carter; brothers, Frankie Roberson (Teresa), Steve Roberson (Brenda) and Joel Roberson; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
