Carolyn Myers Conklin

Carolyn Myers Conklin, age 95, of Birmingham went to be with her Lord on July 22, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Conklin, and daughter, Charolyn L. Ukena. She is survived by her children, Patricia Gilliam of Huntsville, David Conklin of Merritt Island, Fla., Charles Conklin (Pam), Michael Conklin (Lori), Karen Conklin, Joanne Conklin, all of Birmingham and Catherine Sabines of Miami, Fla., as well as 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

Carolyn was much loved by her family and friends. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and her quick humor.

Visitation with her family will be on Tuesday, July 26 from 1-2 p.m. at Southern heritage Funeral Home in Pelham with funeral services following immediately at the funeral home.
