Tidmore-Hamrick

Marlena Kathryn Tidmore and John Cory Hamrick were united in marriage on June 11, 2011 at 6 p.m. at Columbiana United Methodist Church in Columbiana.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tidmore Jr. of Columbiana. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tidmore Sr. of Columbiana, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Arden of Birmingham and the late Daniel McClain of Pelham.

Parents of the groom are Mr. John Hamrick of Algood, Tenn., and Ms. Sharon Argent of Parrish. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Hamrick of Jasper and the late Mr. Jack Argent and Mrs. Patsy Argent of Mount Olive. He is the great-grandson of Mrs. Rosie Hamrick of Columbus, Ohio.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless, diamond white, Enzoani gown with crystal beading. Brenlee Richardson, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Susannah Higgins, Lindsay Kerr, Helen Massey, Christina Maxwell, Taylor Perry, Rhianna Richey and Jane Harris. Junior bridesmaid was Faith Richardson. Alyster Claire Hamrick, daughter of the groom, served as flower girl.

The best man was Cary Hamrick, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Clint Chaney, Brannon Garrett, John Hamrick, Dustin Rhodes, Colton Richardson, Terrence Shamburger, Jacob Tidmore and Joseph Tidmore. Braden Michael Garrett served as ring bearer. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Edwin Pete Grice Jr., former pastor of the bride. A reception followed at Anderson Gail Farms. The couple currently resides in Niceville, Fla.
