The Kingwood Christian School volleyball team defeated Eastwood Academy 23-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-23 in high school volleyball action Aug. 23.

Senior Karley Chamblee led the Lions (2-0) with six kills, eight service aces and 18 assists in the victory.

Junior Casey Whitmer added six kills, five service aces and six blocks in the win.

Senior Allie Hulon and freshman Katie Allen Etheridge finished with five kills each. Etheridge also finished with three service aces and one block in the match.
