The Evangel Christian School volleyball team swept the Tuscaloosa Home Educators 25-10, 25-11, 25-7 in high school volleyball action Aug. 23.

Juniors Elizabeth Ragland and Kierson McGriff led the Lightning (3-0) with eight kills each in the victory. Ragland added eight service aces, nine digs and one block in the win.

Senior Kate Foster led Evangel Christian with 11 assists in the match. Junior Anna Byers recorded one block.
