-Lost property from the 100 block of Big Oak Drive (residence, home). Reported missing was a transit license plate.

-Found property from Highway 31 (highway, street). Recovered was a black wallet containing pictures and papers, a Louisiana driver’s license, a Social Security card and a health insurance card.

-Burglary and theft of property from the 100 block of Cedar Grove Parkway (residence, home). Stolen was $160,000 in U.S. currency and an HP laptop computer valued at $3,000.

-Harassing communications from the 1000 block of First Street North (specialty store).

-Theft of lost property – vehicle or trailer tag from the 1700 block of King Charles Court (residence, home). Stolen was an Alabama trailer tag valued at $13.25.

-Harassing communications from the 100 block of Sugarberry (residence, home).

-Fraudulent use of a debit card from the 200 block of Tradewinds Circle (other, unknown). Stolen was $2,031 in U.S. currency.

-Animal complaint – dogs running at large from the 1700 block of King James Drive (highway, street).

Aug. 9

-Open door from the 50 block of Gilbert Drive (storage facility).

-For information only from the 600 block of 11th Avenue Southwest (residence, home). Reported lost was a Nevada child support check valued at $415.38.

-Found property from First Street (field, woods). Recovered was a lot of clothes, a hamper and a metal bird cage.

-Theft of property from the 9600 block of Highway 119 (department store). Stolen was an old Pepsi drink box valued at $100 and 300 linear feet of 8-foot-tall chain link fence valued at $1,500.

-Burglary and theft of property from the 10000 block of County Road 176 (residence, home). Damaged was a window screen in the amount of $20, and stolen was a Case knife collection valued at $4,000, Daniel Moore paintings valued at $2,000, a Rolex Mariner watch valued at $10,000, a Gateway laptop valued at $1,500, a riding lawnmower valued at $1,500 and a 2004 Honda Fourtrax ATV valued at $3,000.

-Identity theft from the Internet (residence, home).

-Property damage from the 100 block of Willow Point Lane (highway, street). Damaged was a 1996 Toyota Camry in the amount of $2,500.

-Found property from the Burger King (restaurant). Found was a picture, two check books, two BCBS cards, an Alabama driver’s license, a Sears card, a Home Depot card, a set of keys and a Bruster’s gift card and an American Express card.

-Information only from the 500 block of Treymoor Lake Circle (residence, home).

-Fraudulent use of a debit card from the 100 block of Forest Parkway (other, unknown). Stolen was $288 in U.S. currency.

-Damage to property from Highway 31 at Jimmy Gould (highway, street). Damaged was a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab in the amount of $3,050.

-Theft of property and criminal littering from the 100 block of Dogwood Trail (residence, home). Stolen was a 6-foot fiberglass ladder valued at $100 and two tool bags with various hand tools valued at $400.

-Theft by deception and no business license from the 500 block of Grove Hill Trail (residence, home).

-Suicide attempt from Eighth Street Southwest (residence, home).

-Robbery from I-65 South at the 239 mile marker (highway, street). Stolen was a men’s wallet containing cash, an Alabama driver’s license and debit cards, $120 in U.S. currency and an iPod touch valued at $150.

-Theft by deception from the 1100 block of First Street North (other, unknown).

-Domestic violence investigation and domestic violence – harassment from Sixth Avenue Southwest (residence, home).

-Theft and burglary from the Britos supermarket on Highway 119 (supermarket). Stolen was $25,000 to $30,000 in U.S. currency, and damaged was dry wall in the amount of $200, a window in the amount of $500 and a safe in the amount of $500.

-Disorderly conduct and resisting arrest from the 100 block of Dogwood Trail (residence, home).

-Open door from the 2034 block of First Avenue West (residence, home).

-Unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia from I-65 at the 240 mile marker (highway, street). Recovered was a Ziploc bag containing a green, leafy substance believed to be marijuana and a wooden pipe used to smoke marijuana.

-Damage to property from the 10000 block of Highway 119 (school, college). Damaged was a glass window.

-Theft (shoplifting) from 5100 U.S. 31 (department store).

Aug. 8

-Breaking and entering of a vehicle and theft from 5100 Supercenter Drive (parking lot, garage). Stolen was a Milwaukee hammer drill valued at $600, two socket sets valued at $200, two battery powered drills with five batteries valued at $800 and a Honda 2500 watt generator valued at $1,200.

-Property damage from 1229 8th Avenue (specialty store).

-Theft (shoplifting) and criminal trespass from 5100 U.S. 31 (supermarket). Wire terminals valued at $8.96 were stolen and recovered.

Aug. 13

-Carrying concealed weapon (vehicle) and open container from the 11000 block of Highway 25 (highway, street). Recovered was a Cobra FS380 .380 caliber handgun.

-Domestic incident from the 200 block of Supercenter Drive (other, unknown).

-Theft and criminal trespass from the 800 block of Waterford Circle (residence, home). Stolen was a wooden lighthouse valued at $365.

-Theft from 5100 Supercenter Drive (supermarket). Stolen were miscellaneous items valued at $21.30.

-Theft (shoplifting) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from 5100 U.S. 31 (department store). A necklace valued at $4 was stolen and recovered.

-Robbery and theft from 5087 U.S. 31 (restaurant). Stolen and recovered was $367 in U.S. currency.

Aug. 10

-Theft of lost property (third degree) from East College Street (parking lot, garage). Two bottles of prescription medication valued at $65 was stolen.

-Theft of property from Old Highway 25 West (storage facility). A John Deere riding mower valued at $2,500 was stolen.

-Burglary and theft of property from Lynn Drive (residence, home). Stolen were two 12-ounce cans of Bud Light valued at $4, a Sony DVD player valued at $100 and various DVDs valued at $100. Damage valued at $600 was done to French doors.

Aug. 12

-Possession of a controlled substance from the 300 block of Looney Road (highway, street). A small amount of crack was recovered.

-Theft of property and unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from an unknown location in the city. An Acer laptop valued at $700 was stolen.

Aug. 13

-Burglary from Highway 475 (residence, home). Stolen was copper/light fixtures. Furniture and interior walls were damaged.

-Burglary and theft of property from the 100 block of Washington Street (commercial). An Echo model PB-251 leaf blower valued at $100 was stolen.

Aug. 12

-Private property moving vehicle accident from Coosa Valley Academy.

-Recovery of property from the Huddle House parking lot. Recovered was a cell phone. Phone was returned to owner.

Aug. 9

-Criminal mischief from the 900 block of County Road 52 East (commercial). Damaged was a 30-foot chain link fence with posts valued at $800.

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Rolling Mill Street (residence, home). Stolen was a television valued at $125, a Platstation 2 valued at $200, 20 DVD games valued at $400, a computer valued at $125 and a microwave valued at $125.

-Possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of prescription drugs from Montevallo (parking lot/garage). Recovered were Gabapentin 600mg valued at $10, Acetaminophen/Oxycodone Hydrochloride 325mg/5mg valued at $10, silver-colored aluminum crack pipe valued at $5 and a multi-colored plastic straw valued at $1.

-Criminal mischief second degree from the 700 block of Wadsworth Street (drug store). Damaged was a dumpster valued at $1,000.

-Possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of prescription drugs from the 4600 block of Highway 25 (parking lot/garage). Recovered were decongestant medication valued at $10, red plastic straw valued at $1, anxiety medicine valued at $1 and syringes valued at $1.

-Property damage from the 3000 block of Highway 119 (highway/street). Damanged was a blue 2008 Chevrolet Malibu valued at $100.
