The Indian Springs School volleyball team dropped its season-opening match Aug. 24 against Altamont.

Indian Springs fell to the Knights 9-25, 16-25, 15-25.

Sophomore Alex Smith led Indian Springs (0-1) with six kills. Smith also recorded five digs in the match.

Senior Lauren Plouff registered five digs and a team-high 14 assists in the defeat.
