Dear Editor,

This past Friday evening, I was privileged to sit, listen and enjoy the gospel singing presented by the Columbiana Music on Main Street program. I enjoyed the good music of so many groups and fellowship with many friends. From the different attendance figures I’ve heard, so did 300, 400 or 800 others.

I know that Music on Main Street is offered each Friday evening during the summer. However, I’m told the gospel edition is provided only once each season. If possible, could the gospel program be provided more often? The crowd I witnessed would suggest expanded support.

I thank you for a good program and an enjoyable evening.
