Indian Springs downs Leeds, St. Clair County

The Indian Springs School volleyball team defeated Leeds and St. Clair County in high school volleyball action Aug. 30.

Indian Springs defeated Leeds 25-19, 18-25, 20-25, 25-22, 15-4 in its first Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 3A, Area 8 match of the season.

Junior Ambria Hardy led Indian Springs (2-2 overall, 1-0 in Class 3A, Area 8 ) with 17 kills in the victory. Hardy added two service aces and two blocks.

Senior Lauren Plouff recorded four kills. Plouff also finished with two service aces, three digs and a team-high 27 assists in the match.

Indian Springs defeated St. Clair County 18-25, 25-14, 15-12 in its second match.

Hardy led Indian Springs with six kills in the victory. Hardy added five blocks.

Plouff, who had a team-high seven assists, finished with one kill, three service aces and five digs in the match.
