The Briarwood Christian School volleyball team was swept by Homewood 21-25, 22-25, 21-25 in high school volleyball action Sept. 6.

Senior Logan Nasworthy led the Lions (5-9) with 19 kills in the match. Nasworthy added two digs, one block and one service ace.

Freshman Lauren Palmer added six kills and one block.

Carly Cline, Lizzie Baumbach, Adeline Reiser, Georgia Muir-Taylor and Madison Chambers recorded one kill each. Cline also had one service ace and a team-high 12 digs. Baumbach added six digs and three service aces.

Hope Donahue finished with nine digs.
