Montevallo Elementary to close early today

Montevallo Elementary School will dismiss at 1 p.m. today due to a power outage at the school, according to a statement posted on the Shelby County Schools’ website.

The school will not offer after-school care.

The statement said that Montevallo Middle and Montevallo High have power and will follow their normal schedule today.
