The Evangel Christian School volleyball team defeated Evangel Family Christian School 25-11, 25-10, 25-11 in high school volleyball action Sept. 6.

Elizabeth Ragland recorded a team-high eight kills in the victory for the Lightning, who improved to 6-0. Ragland also recorded nine service aces and seven digs.

Kierson McGriff and Anna Byers finished with seven kills each. McGriff added 10 digs and three service aces.

Kate Foster, who posted seven service aces and five assists, and Erica Williams registered three kills each. Erin Morris finished with one kill and a team-high 11 assists.
