The Evangel Christian School volleyball team swept New Life Christian Academy 25-16, 25-9, 25-19 in high school volleyball action Sept. 8.

Kierson McGriff led the Lightning (7-0) with 10 kills in the victory. McGriff added seven digs and five service aces in the match.

Elizabeth Ragland finished with six kills, five digs and a team-high 12 service aces. Anna Byers chipped in three kills and five digs.

Kate Foster recorded nine assists, eight digs, seven service aces and a kill. Erica Williams finished with two service aces and a kill.

Erin Morris registered seven assists.
