Peggy Busby Dyer, 70, of Calera passed away in Alabaster on Monday, Sept. 12, 2011. Mrs. Dyer was a lifelong member of Calera First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Lori Dyer, and grand-dogs, Lola and Bella Dyer.

Visitation will be held at Calera First United Methodist Church on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church on Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Shelby Memory Gardens. The family requests that donations be made to the building fund of Calera First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 176, Calera, Alabama 35040, in lieu of flowers.
