Velma L. Moore Johnson, 75, of Wilton passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at her residence. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Moore. She is survived by her husband, Frank Johnson Jr. of Wilton; three sons, Wayne Moore of Humble, Texas, Johnny Moore of Montevallo and Charles Moore of Clanton; daughter, Barbara Ballard of Alabaster; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Montevallo, Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tom Hammett officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
