The Chelsea High School volleyball team defeated Calera and Isabella in a pair of matches Sept. 15.

The Hornets defeated Calera 25-11, 25-17.

Chelsea Tyson led the Hornets (13-7) with five kills in the victory. Tyson also recorded tow blocks.

Samantha Colyer contributed five service aces and 10 digs. Emma Cotney finished with seven digs in the match.

Chelsea defeated host Isabella 27-25, 25-10.

Colyer led the Hornets with six kills in the win.

Holly Marbut added five kills. Kacie Craft recorded a team-high seven service aces in the match.

Cotney contributed six digs. Courtney Campbell registered a team-high 13 assists in the victory.
