The Oak Mountain High School volleyball team fell to Hoover 23-25, 14-25, 25-20, 25-23, 10-15 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 match Sept. 15.

Hannah Kowal led the Eagles with 11 kills in the match.

Abbie Bourque, Emily Cosgrove and Hannah Beach contributed nine kills each. Beach registered a team-high 33 assists in the match.
